The ever-prolific Nicolas Cage continues to dance to the beat of his own drum with Pig. Cage plays the role of a truffle hunter who must return to the life he left behind while in search of his beloved foraging pig. Critical reaction to Pig and Cage’s performance especially has been strong, and it continues a string of recent strong turns from the wonderfully eccentric thesp that includes Mandy and Colour of Space. Directed by Michael Sarnoski, Pig is sure to add to the legacy of an actor whose career is as unique as they come.
Pig releases in Australian cinemas September 16th.
