It was a hard task to choose between the visual majesty of Legend of the Guardians and the vibrant beauty of Tangled. In the end Tangled was the victor, thanks to its lush colour, palpable animated environment, and precise attention to detail that every strand of hair in Rapunzel’s never ending stream of golden locks seemed hand crafted. Mix it with a dose of properly utilised 3D, and an animated visual masterpiece is born.
