BURTON THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS |

Written by Matthew Pejkovic |
Disney are set to release Tim Burton's suitably weird looking adaptation of the classic fantasy tale, Alice in Wonderland.
A follow up to Lewis Carrol's orignal story, Burton and screenwriter Linda Wolverton (The Lion King) have a now 19 year old Alice (Mia Wasikowska) return to the fantastical world of Wonderland, where she embarks on a new adventure and reunites with a few old friends along the way.
Said Burton of the film: “Seeing other movie versions of it, I never felt an emotional connection to it. It was always a girl wandering around from one crazy character to another, and I never really felt any real emotional connection. So it’s an attempt to really try to give (Alice in Wonderland) some framework of emotional grounding that has never been in any version before. ”
The film will be released in both Disney Digital 3-D and IMAX 3-D, as well as original 2-D.
