For screenwriter Stephen Geffrey’s, 9 years had passed between his first feature film (The Libertine) and his now infamous work on Diana. Me thinks the next gap between projects will be infinite, with Geffrey’s script for Diana an atrocious, hokey, lumbering and uninspired dramatization of a remarkable woman’s life, filled with the kind of dialogue heard in trashy TV movies usually made about the Royal Family.
