Yet not even the considerably talented Naomi Wayys could survive the horror which was Diana, with her portrayal of the “people’s princess” a shallow and unsympathetic dirge, where the machinations of her performance glares like an open wound that reveals no heart, nor soul underneath a carefully crafted shell that screams “take me seriously!”, yet never delivers upon its expectations.
